We here at Purple Grace Teas naturally think of every day as “Iced Tea Day,” but did
you know there’s also a national holiday for our favorite drink? Yep, that’s right! This coming
Friday, June 10, is National Iced Tea Day.
First introduced during the 1904 World’s Fair in St. Louis, Missouri, iced tea gained wide
popularity during Prohibition (1920-1933), since the cold beverage was a tasty alternative to
alcohol.
Come help Purple Grace Teas celebrate National Iced Tea Day by trying some free samples
over at Lord and Taylor this Friday. Hope to see you there!
